Originally, the Alan Koppel gallery was located in the John Hancock building. In 2001 the outfit relocated to a 4,000 square foot space in the River North. The gallery features an impressive list of international contemporary and modern artists, including Diane Arbus, Joseph Cornell, Robert Frank, Peter Halley, Hiroshi Sugimoto and Andy Warhol. The artwork is enhanced by French and Italian Modernist furniture from the 1920's through the 1060's which also surrounds the space.
