As part of Casa Aztlan, a local community center, Calmecac Gallery exhibits the work of local, national and international artists. In this tiny space that wasn’t originally designed to be an art gallery, you'll find a small collection of drawings, paintings, and prints. The building of Casa Aztlan is worth a trip in and of itself as Marcos Raya and other esteemed Mexican-American muralists who've lived and worked in Pilsen for years painted a gorgeously colorful mural on the building.
