Located next to Saks Fifth Avenue on the Magnificent Mile, this art gallery is in a prime location for passers-by and browsers. The owner, Costel Iarca, is also the featured artist. Iarca's large-scale abstract paintings are colorful, brushy and whimsical.
Iarca says that his original inspiration was Picasso's post-Cubist period, and it shows; though his inspirations extend to Van Gogh, Leger, and Klee as well. Iarca celebrates these influences in an entirely original and excitingly expressive way. As Iarca says, "Art is human magic." Also on display and for sale at the gallery are painted ceramics and black and white photography.
