Welcome to Spring Break, on repeat. This newly opened space in
Wrigleyville features an array of Mexican-inspired treats, and it all starts with tequila.
In the spirit of trailer park shindigs, even the fanciest of drinks gets served in a crystal clear plastic cup. A cardboard cutout of the Dos Equis spokesman (aka "The Most Interesting Man in the World") serves as Dos Gringos' house DJ. And even though you may have had better tacos in the city, there's something strangely appealing about this loud, chaotic cantina.
Maybe it's the bright colors (we haven't seen walls this vibrant since pre-school), perhaps its the cheeky name or the addictive salsa verde. We can't quite put our finger on it, but we're thinking it probably has something to do with the $6 margaritas.
Choose from nine innovative concoctions including the Redneck (that'd be whiskey in place of tequila) and the Donkey Punch (tequila, peach schnapps and a dash of champagne). Additionally, the place is packed with TVs so you can catch the game while you mow down those tacos, burritos and fajitas.
