The unassuming brick building across the street from the Metra station has probably caused many commuters to miss a train, or ensnare them on their way home from the station for just one.

Johnny B's is a neighborhood tavern in West Suburban Brookfield with a lack of pretense but no lack of bar food, beer specials and casual fun. It's most everything a bar should be, with a few dartboards, a smattering of video games, and bartenders that enjoy buying a round of shots as well as a good laugh.

If you're looking for a bite, pizza and wings are available here, and the prices are much less than you’d expect to pay a few Metra stops closer to the lake.
