While offering an impressive range of choices, the menu here hardly strays from the predictable tastes of their power-lunch demographic. Appetizers include seared sesame Ahi tuna and wrapped portobello mushrooms while entrees run the gamut from Asian turkey burgers to a wild mushroom risotto to Pecan-crusted pork chops. The food itself is artfully presented, and though not spectacular, is certainly enjoyable. The portions are a bit excessive though, especially during lunch.
The dining room (with the exception of a few secluded tables) is a simply decorated, large open space that amplifies the conversations of the many suits and ties. Seating is available at the bar with televisions to amuse the companionless. The service is attentive and courteous (and incredibly fast during the lunch rush). One North offers a full bar and a large, though overpriced (even for restaurants) wine selection. The dinner menu is almost identical to the lunch menu, with only a few different options and slightly higher costs.
