If you find yourself out on Saturday night looking good and ready to party, but your bar or club of choice is so packed you can't get in, it's time to go with plan B. Don't have one? Then head to Plan B Bar and Kitchen, where you're guaranteed a night of fun in a chill setting.
The one-room bar caters mostly to a young professional crowd sporting expensive jeans with sexy tops on the ladies and nice button-down shirts on the guys. If that's not your scene, the friendly staff will still make you feel welcome. Black chandeliers and textured wallpaper decorate the room; nine plasma TVs (including three at eye level) offer a great view of the game - usually a game involving a Michigan sports team (the bar is an official Michigan State spot, but loves the Tigers, Red Wings, Lions and Pistons, too).
The menu keeps things fairly simple, offering a healthy selection of unhealthy appetizers and sandwiches. The build-your-own burger menu is the star, starting at $7.50 for your choice of meat (or veggie), bun and two toppings.
Average cost: $10-$20
