Hotel lobby bars have always been places to gather before heading out. Rarely are they a place to gather before heading out to another bar at the same hotel. People meet in the ground floor Living Room, have a drink, and then move upstairs to the crowded and popular Whiskey Bar.
Expect predominantly hip clothing in an entirely black palette. When a hotel is designed in a contemporary club style, this type of thing is bound to happen. Many would like to label this lobby bar as trendy, but people have been drinking martinis for ages; who cares if they’re green? To see and be seen, there’s not a better hotel lobby bar in the city, though you’re sure to see a lot of people looking for the elevators.
