Formerly: If you've always wanted to booze it up at a biker bar without getting your ass kicked, then the Spoke is choice. And, though the newer Wrigleyville location has a much higher Brooks Bros to black leather quotient, you'll still get a dose of hardcore living, thanks to Jim Beam on tap (with $2 cocktail daily) and the infamous Smut and Eggs Saturday late-night phenomenon.

The bathrooms are lovingly labeled "Chicks" and "Dicks." The servers are consummate pros, and folks are generally friendly so to speak. Don't miss the Fat Boy, a big honkin’ burgers fitted with a half pound beef patty between garlic toasted egg bun, topped off with your choice of cheddar, swiss, grilled onions, bacon and barbecue sauce.
