Since taking over the space occupied by the Corner Pocket for 17 years, Victory Liquors has been known mainly for two reasons: It's the middle child in Matt Eisler's mini-empire (with hipster-packed Empire Liquors and clubby Elm Street Liquors its younger and older sibs, respectively), and it's the official watch-spot for Notre Dame fans. What most don't know is that the casual bar caters to all sports fans, even on nights when the Irish aren't fighting.

The mahogany bar, dark wood details and ample Notre Dame memorabilia are mere accessories to the 25 plasma TVs sprinkled strategically throughout the space. Each of the three rooms has its own bar, with the front room being the most intimate, the middle room tending to be the rowdiest and the back room often reserved for private parties (a shame, considering its monstrous projection screen and comfy couches).

Those seeking beer can have their pick of draft, bottles or cans, while those interested in stirring up nostalgia will find plenty of drinks reminiscent of their barely legal drinking days, including a Lunchbox Shot of amaretto in beer and orange juice for $5. Daily drink specials vary, with recent deals including Monday night $15 Corona buckets, Saturday night $13 Budweiser buckets and Wednesday night Beauty Bar, in which $25 will get a lady a cocktail and manicure. To sop up the alcohol Victory Liquors serves up standard bar fare (burgers, wins, nachos). If you're a real ND fan, you can hop a bus the day of any home game and head straight to South Bend.
