Greg Pasenko Band

Singer, guitar player and composer Greg Pasenko has performed throughout the world, whose various bands have shared the stage with such luminaries as Buddy Guy, Rush and Omar and the Howlers. He has worked in the Phil Guy's (Buddy's brother) and Buster Benton's (Willie Dixon's guitar player) bands. He has even performed at home plate at Wrigley Field for a Cub's game. Other gigs on his long resume: working for Chuck Berry, playing with Bobby McFerrin, jamming with Adrian Belew, and playing in orchestras for shows like Bob Hope, Henny Youngman and Maurey Amsterdam.

Other band members have worked with Koko Taylor, Dave Mason, Willie Nelson, Bugs Henderson, Jr. Walker and the All Stars, Son Seals, Michael Coleman, and Charlie Love.

They play blues/roots music fairly regularly at Chicago area blues clubs. They have a CD, A Cold Night in Chicago (1997). Of it, Illinois Entertainer says, "Whether hot and fiery or warm and mellow, the music on this finely-crafted debut disc is sure to raise the temperature on a cold night in Chicago -- or anywhere else, for that matter!"
