The seedy-looking building on Halsted between Lake and Randolph flashes a neon sign that reads "Bare Bodies XXX" just above an awning that reads "Gentleman's Club" and "Club Paradox." No further explanation is required, though a peek past the heavy steel door gives a suggestion of the den of iniquity lurking inside: mannequins posing in sadomasochistic paraphernalia inside a cage. Late-night locale, it is; it's open daily 11 a.m. to 4 a.m. I'm told male and female dancers put on private booth shows for between $15 and $50, there is a small backstage area for bondage shows and a deep soak room.
