The name implies it, but not many people realize the talent of Kenny Keys until he lets loose on the piano. Playing notes for over twenty-years, Keys has taken his refined approach to making music and incorporated it into one of the most distinct sounds in Chicago hip-hop. He’s produced for Cap D, Rita J, BSTC, Primeridian, J-Live and Spq-Her to name a few, and has been a key figure in establishing the "jazzy" style of production that has defined Chicago hip-hop since the early 1990’s. He’ll be joined on stage by Mr. Lotus (bass) and Danye (drums) for a show that’ll mix soul-fusion with straight hip-hop.
