Though the original crew that inspired an angry white Seattle suburbanite (Kurt Cobain) to pick up a Fender Strat and change the face of rock forever is no more, the Kirkwood bros are still kicking out new "cow punk" psychedelia well into this new millennium. The new album, Sewn Together, is as haphazardly endearing as the group's late-'80s drug-binged oeuvre, yet stocked with enough pop to make it more than a nostalgia set. (Gavin Paul)
