501(3)(c) organization The Windy City Blues Society, otherwise known for its preservation of the genre and the Blues In The Schools program, curates this fourth and final push to send Chicago's best blues artists to the International Blues Challenge in Memphis in January 2010. Eleven artists, from "youth band" contender Will Jacobs and the Dirty Deal to stalwarts Toronzo Cannon and Dave Herrero, will spar from 7:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. (Gavin Paul)
