Epically sprawled and ethereal like that of his band, new freedoms show up in space, mostly warm and teased with flute and organic electronic builds by co-arranger Nico Muhly that, paired with Birgisson's angelic hum, will likely make your plants grow. Three harrowing nature-loving folkettes performing under the guise of Mountain Man open, threading harmonies and acoustic guitar with a bit of reverb as its only company. (Gavin Paul)
