What to expect: The two-day fest features guided walks through the Nature Center's four habitats (prairie, woodland, wetland, savanna), as well as workshops on the benefits of landscaping with native plants and composting. There will be nature crafts, activities and a storyteller for children. "Tales & Scales Traveling Zoo" will be there on Sunday for an interactive, educational live animal presentation.
