Cost: $15 in advance for a three-day pass ($18 at the door); children 16 and under are free when accompanied by an adult

Organizer: Chicago Botanic Garden

What to expect: A market full of home and garden furnishings, tools, decorations, plants, flowers and more, plus interior gardens, a wine and coffee bar and arranging ideas.

Why to go: You won't find a more scenic shopping center this side of Eden.

Additional info: Renowned floral designer Ron Morgan gives the keynote presentation on Friday and Saturday at 11 a.m. (fee is $40 in advance or $50 at the door, and includes fair admission). Parking at the Garden is free for members; nonmembers pay $12. There will be a preview night on Thursday, April 17 (6-10 p.m.); tickets start at $200.
