What to expect: Art, theater, food, drink and two stages of live music in historic Rogers Park.
Why to go: Come early for the Heartland Athletes United for Peace street sprints, which start at 10 a.m. on Saturday (on Glenwood between Lunt and Greenleaf). Participation is free.
Additional info: The festival will include a KidsFest area, featuring hands-on arts activities and family-friendly performances. Two live music stages and a performance stage (with circus, theater and dance acts) will host many acts, including The New Duncan Imperials, Roundeye, The Polkaholics, Baabe Irving III with Phil Cohran, Pat Hall and The Dimestore Stringband.
