What to expect: The parade will feature local marching bands, singing societies, folk dancers and Scandinavian organizations in ethnic costumes. Pre-parade festivities in Hodges Park beginning at noon will include crafts, activities for children, refreshments and entertainment by Chicago Nordic Voices.

Additional info: The parade steps off at 1 p.m. at Talcott and Cumberland in Park Ridge, ending in Hodges Park.
