Why to go: The Midwest's first IFOCE-sanctioned rib eating competition (June 11 at 6 p.m.). Also, the music: Califone, The Whigs, Langhorne Slim, Bottle Rockets and more.
Additional info: The festival will feature a crowd-voted award presentation for Northcenter's Best Ribs. Kids Square, which offers rides, live entertainment and hands-on activities, will run from noon-6 p.m. Saturday-Sunday.
