What to expect: Three days of food, music and more by the Park Ridge Metra station.

Why to go: Food from local restaurants is the main attraction, but we'd suggest coordinating your visit with the Park Ridge Fine Arts Symphony's free outdoor concert on Friday night in Hodges Park (it's all about the Broadway hits).

Additional info: Thursday is designated as Community Day, Friday as Seniors Day, and Saturday as Family Fun Day. On Saturday, Hodges Park will host children's games, rides and other attractions across from City Hall, while booths under the "Canopies on Courtland" on Courtland Avenue will provide visitors a chance to learn more about local businesses and community and social service groups.
