Chicago Chocolate Company's Cafe, formerly located in the West Loop on Randolph, has relocated to its warehouse outlet store. Following in the footsteps of other Chicago candy greats (Mars, Tootsie Roll, Wrigley, Fannie May), the company is sure to rise in the ranks quicker than you can answer the question, "How many licks does it take…" Well, you know the rest.
In the Fannie May tradition, various chocolates can be purchased by the pound or gift-wrapped box, and of course there's a tray of samples aging to perfection on the counter. However, I'd go as far as to say that the cafe offers a wider selection than good ol' Fannie, plus a place for you to park it and rest your back after leaning over those glass counters for so long. During summer months, you can pick up an ice cream cone to supplement the classy confectionaries.
