The long, narrow loft space allows for a variety of seating options: tables in front of the stage offer great views of the musicians, a seat at the bar comes in handy for drink refills—cosmos and martinis seem to be the drinks of choice—and tables towards the back of the club are perfect for conversation. A mature crowd (think mostly thirty and fortysomethings) gathers here after work and on the weekends to unwind with some cocktails and listen to the sounds of modern jazz.

The club features a variety of jazz performers on the brink of making it big, jamming every night of the week except Sunday. But the jazz showcased here isn't your grandparents' music; the club focuses on a new evolution of jazz—smooth jazz. Smooth jazz combines basic jazz riffs with R&B as well as contemporary sounds like pop to form a new jazz fusion.
