NOW CLOSED...Formerly: As you walk into the Living Room, the most stunning thing you see is not the layout itself, but the age-diversity. It's not often you see couples in their fifties sharing a dance floor with college kids. The Living Room purports to be an upscale club, complete with dress code. There are two levels, the first with a ballroom style dance floor, the second with bars and plush couches that sit next to end tables, desk lamps and bookshelves (though I would pay to see someone actually read). The music is a mix of different club hits, from techno to salsa to new wave, although bands play there on certain nights. But beware: Around midnight on a Friday, it loses it's charm and becomes yet another big club with overpriced drinks and crowds so thick you can barely make it out the door.
