| Aaron Weinstein attends Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts on a full 4-year talent based scholarship. During his high school years he founded New Trier High School's Stephane Grappelli Tribute Trio which performed at the 2002 conference of the International Association for Jazz Education and was voted as the nation's best high school instrumental jazz group by Downbeat Magazine in 2002. Aaron has won various competitions including the 1998 and 2001 Illinois State Fiddle Championships making him the youngest performer ever to hold this title. As a featured soloist, Aaron has performed at Chicago's Orchestra Hall, Chicago's Jazz Showcase, the Iridium, Birdland, and the Atlantic Mutual Jazz Festival.
In addition, Aaron has appeared on WGN television and radio, and PBS's hit series Art Beat Chicago. He is currently the violinist with Frank Vignola's acoustic jazz quintet, Hot Club USA. Aaron has had opportunities to perform or record with various masters of jazz including Joe Ascione, John Blake Jr., Johnny Frigo, Billy Hart, Jay Leonhart, Les Paul, Bucky Pizzarelli, John Pizzarelli, Brian Torff, Don Stiernberg, Frank Vignola, and Claude "Fiddler" Williams.
