| New York City native joined the Chicago Symphony Orchestra as a violist in January, 1996. Previously he had been principal second violin of the Northeast Pennsylvania Philharmonic and co-principal viola of the Concerto Soloists Chamber Orchestra. He's now moved the CSO's violin section. Dodge studied both instruments during childhood, and in the pre-college division of the Julliard School. After getting a 1990 chemistry degree from Swarthmore, he got a masters degree in music from State University of New York at Stony Brook. An avid chamber musician, Mr. Dodge has performed at the Bravo! Colorado festival, the Taos Chamber Music Festival, and the Pundaquit Chamber Music Festival in the Phillipines, and has been a guest of the Chicago Chamber Musicians. His father, Charles Dodge is a composer.
