| Says the Chicago Maroon's Mark Athitakis in his article "A musical road map to Hyde Park, "Ben Martin plays sensitive new-age guy music ("I let you down/because I felt you up") for sensitive new-age guys, of which there's no shortage in this town. Don't take this as a backhanded compliment, though; Martin plays his acoustic folk-pop with a lot of sincerity, and his songs are a step above your average busking fare."
