| Quintessential Chicago folk signer never achieved the national success predicted for her, but is still a big draw when she returns to the city and appears in local clubs. She'll be starring (as a circus artist) in her own whimsical multi-media music-theatre piece Tales of Trashmania (The mythical Trashmania, she explains is "a small nomadic country shaped like a violin [that has] officially been declared missin"), which will run from September 10-October 12 at the College of DuPage Arts Center in Glen Ellyn.
