BOX-O-CAR is a 5-piece glam rock/power pop fivesome from Chicago who began making their mark on the Chicago scene in the spring of '97. Their musical style has been compared as a cross between Cheap Trick meets David Bowie meets The Association. They released their debut CD, Faster Than The Sound of Speed, on Veronica Records in January, 2000 (recorded at Kingsize Studios where guitarist Kenny Sluiter is also a producer/engineer). Other band members include: - Skid Marks on vocals and guitar (his mother even calls him "Skid")
- Dan Polonsky on bass (brother to infamous Jonny Polonsky)
- Cory Hance on guitar (Cory also fronts his own band "The Cells")
- Alex Moore on drums (not to be confused with Abra Moore)
