Experimental jazz/fusion improv group includes percussionist Michael Zerang, cellist Fred Lonberg-Holm, keyboardist Jim Baker, and Daniel Scanlan (guitar, violin, and trumpet). Their eponymous CD includes "Shooting an Elephant," a track Baker composed in 1969 featuring a frightening electric-shaver synth solo, the Middle Eastern "Wheat in the Pocket," "Bobby," and "Om Sha'ar Asmar Meddafar" (a cover of Nubian funk artist Ali Hassan Kuban.
