| Former leader of the All Bubba Blues Band, harpist Kilman is also a reasonably famous WLUP Chicago radio personality, known for his "Blues News," a blues recitation of the news with harmonica accompaniment, which he began doing in 1981. He usually sports dark sunglasses and a bottle of beer, which he consumes during his bands' extended solos (tough job, eh?). The bearded Kilman was born in Detroit in 1944 and resides in the River West area. Kilman currently fronts a band called the Blues Rocket Scientists and plays local blues bars. He also does the blues jam at Rosa's Lounge on Thursday nights with James Wheeler.
