| Horn player has been a member of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra since 1975. He also plays the wagner tuba when the CSO performs large-scale romantic works. He's a member of the Grammy Award-winning Chicago Pro Musica, the WolfGang Quartet (a vocal ensemble), and a number of chamber ensembles. The Wilmette resident (he was born in Stickney, IL) played in the Civic Orchestra while in high school. Studied music at Roosevelt University until -- at the age of 19 -- he won a position with the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra. Afterwards, he played in the National Symphony, before joining the CSO.
