| In 1999 Denny was asked to audition for a Dick Clark show called, “Your Big Break”. On that show he sang Neil Diamond’s, “America”. There was a lot of great talent on that show and it ended up being the most aired show of that series. Since then he’s had the opportunity to play around the midwest and eastern parts of the U.S. Although quick to point out that he doesn’t look like Neil Diamond, if you close your eyes you’d swear it was Neil singing those all too familiar classic tunes. In Nashville and much of the southeast he’s been accompanied by the famed “Longfellows”. An extremely talented group of Nashville musicians consisting of Sean Kelly, Andy Thompson, Matt Thompson, King Williams and James DiGirolamo. You can catch him in his native Chicago area accompanied by the equally talented “Cherry Wine”. This band consists of Joe Zanelli, Bruce Petrie, Nick Tarzia, Steve Albue along with the lovely and talented D’Arcy Park and Tricia Sawilchik. And last but not least his 3 piece acoustic band with his two sons Lucas and Spenser, “Denny Diamond and The Family Jewels”. A fun acoustic show based mostly on Neil’s music but some Johnny Cash, Dean Martin and others thrown into the mix. For more information, visit their website: http://www.dennydiamond.com
