| Chicago Symphony Orchestra veteran was the symphony's principal flute until 1999. With the orchestra, Peck has played under four different music directors -- Reiner, Martinon, Solti, and Barenboim! He has made over 300 recordings with 22 conductors and 12 labels. Peck is a faculty member of Chicago Center for the Performing Arts at Roosevelt University. He played in the Seattle Youth Symphony and the Seattle Philharmonic, studied briefly at the Curtis Institute of Music which he left to join the National Symphony Orchestra in Washington D.C. He played for three years in the U.S. Marine Band, and was principal flute of the Kansas City Philharmonic before joining the CSO.
