| This major label band from the suburbs of Chicago formed in 2001 and took its name from an episode of The Simpsons about a comic book character named Fall Out Boy. The band includes Pete Wentz (bass/vocalist), Patrick Stump (vocals/guitar), Joe Trohman (guitar), and Andy Hurley (drums). Before hitting it big, the band released three E.P.'s that did very well and received some major airplay. In 2005, Fall Out Boy debuted their major label release, "From Under the Cork Tree" on Island Records, which landed at #9 on the Billboard charts. The praise doesn't stop there. In 2006 they were nominated for a Grammy as "Best New Artist", but didn't win. For more information, visit their website: http://www.falloutboyrock.com
