| Founder and artistic director of Chicago a cappella, Jonathan Millerr holds a Ph.D. in musicology from the University of North Carolina, where he specialized in vocal music of the Italian Renaissance. He has spent a decade as a member of the Harwood Early Music Ensemble of Chicago, and appeared as a bass soloist with His Majestie's Clerkes (now Bella Voce) and the Chicago Baroque Ensemble. He has served as the artistic director of Oak Park community chorus Heritage Chorale and Choir Director of Unity Temple Unitarian Universalist Congregation in Oak Park. In addition, he has served on the Musical Advisory Board of the Chicago Children's Choir, where he began his musical career at the age of 9.
