| Best known for his collaborative work with Yea Big (they have one self-titled album together), Kid Static has always been able to take his influences and turn it into his own definable sound. Originally trained in piano, this Southside native draws upon elements of jazz, soul and rock to create a more grassroots approach towards music. He’s constantly doing shows with Yea Big, but keep an eye out for his new collaboration with local producers Meat Number 5 due out later this year. (J.
