Noisy '70s top 40-style band is currently "on hiatus." In their heyday, they performed originals which hearkened back to the era of The Kinks and Allman Brothers. The Chicago Tribune said, "Enough psychedelic tapestries to carpet a warehouse." They were also one of Chicago's best-dressed bands... They've opened for bands like The Flaming Lips, Shoes, Love, Redd Kross, Matt Wilson, Blake Babies, Uncle Tupelo and Chainsaw Kittens and their tours have ranged from Minneapolis to New York City. They have an 11-song CD called Hard and Heavy (*with Marshmallow).
Band members include Tim Fowler (guitar, vocals), drummer Anthony Illarde (ex-Rights of the Accursed), Bob Samiljan (bass), and Jason Walker (vocals, guitar). Fowler and Illarde currently play together in a band called The Chamberstrings.
