Nü-Metal Power Harnessed, Nü-Metal Power Unleashed
Taking the elements and primal strength of metal and infusing it with the feel of a deep groove, LoopHole’s daring approach to heavy music is taking Nü-metal to a higher level.
Founded in 1997 by singer/guitarist Adriano Rocha, this metal power trio is anchored by a dynamic rhythm section featuring bassist Adam Radam and drummer John Castro. Combining elements of heavy metal with a deep soulful groove and a touch of Latin flavor, Rocha began writing songs in mid 1997 for a project that would eventually become LoopHole.
Over the years, Rocha and members of LoopHole have performed throughout the Chicago area. With Radam, who joined the band as the bassist in August of 2001, the band has played gigs at Metro, Milwaukee Metal Fest, and Mobfest. Since Castro’s arrival in December of 2002, LoopHole has performed at Joe’s on Weed St. in front of a crowd of over a thousand people, and recorded a soon to air television performance. With these three members, a natural state of equilibrium has finally been reached.
LoopHole is currently looking to book shows throughout the country. Plans also include the completion of a twelve-song demo, recording new material, and focusing on the marketing aspects of this project. A three and four song demo is available upon request.
