 Female-fronted MariZen blends pop, rock, and punk into energetic songs full of catchy hooks and melodies. The band has electrified audiences from Chicago to Los Angeles. Notable performance highlights include a city wide show entitled “Zenapalooza” releasing the band’s debut album “Canvas” in July 2001, the Hard Rock Café-Chicago as finalists for “The Battle of the bands to benefit the Art of Elysium” in November 2001, the House of blues-Chicago in January 2002, and a two week tour in California July 2002. The band has just finished recording their second full-length album with Producer DeWayne Barron this past month. A release and subsequent tour are scheduled for this Fall 2003.
