Painting interesting stories with simple words and one guitar, Mike Reeb quietly draws his audience in with each song.
Mike is an independent musician from Chicago who works closely with Ground Vinyl Records and the artists therein. Since leaving The Verse in late 2003, he has been featured on a variety of projects, including Andru Bemis' 2004 Ground Vinyl release 'Singer' and Tree by Leaf's 2003 independent release 'Postcard from Rome.'
Today, he performs his music as a solo musician in and around Chicago. Mike's song-writing influences include Damien Jurado, John Steinbeck, Elliott Smith, Bob Dylan, Douglas Coupland, Gillian Welch, and Wilco. He has shared the stage with artists such as Denison Witmer, Miranda Stone, Brendon Massei, Tree by Leaf, Michael Heaton, Pete Krebs, Madison Greene, Sleeping at Last, and Switchfoot.
