Bill discovered a big interest in the Chicago scene, and made his move to the Windy City in 1988. Shortly after, he began spinning at clubs and loft parties all around town. Bill's first residency was at the Shelter nightclub, where he played alongside Johnny Fiasco during the first year of it's opening. Bill later moved to the "Vault" where he alternated with Derrick Carter, Spencer Kincy (Gemini) and Mark Farina. Bill, along with the same crew alternated nights at a club called Alcazar. He also held a residency at a weekly salsa and house night called "Hunger" with Ralphie Rosario, and Wednesdays at the Blue Room with DJ Diz.
