| Percussionist appointed to the Chicago Symphony Orchestra in 1986 by Sir Georg Solti (at which time she was just 24). Dash began studying percussion at 9, continued at Eastman, performed with the Rochester Philharmonic, Cincinnati Symphony, was principal percussionist with the Philharmonic Orchestra of Florida. In Chicago, she's performed with the Chicago Chamber Musicians, Chicago Pro Musica, the CSO Trombone Ensemble, Pierre Boulez's Ensemble InterContemporain, Symphony of the Shores, Elmhurst Symphony Orchestra, the Palatine Band, the percussion ensemble Pulse Chicago, and a number of CSO chamber music concerts at Orchestra Hall. Her husband Doug Waddell is an active studio musicians and a member of the Grant Park Symphony Orchestra.
