| This local punk band, one of the leaders of the city's scene in the early '90s, broke up in 1993.
Dan Schafer now fronts the band, Methadones, and is in the process of releasing a new album, "Career Objective," (Thick Records) in July. Some of his past bands include Screeching Weasel, The Riverdales, The Queers, and The Mopes.
