| Sunnyside Up is a Chicago based acoustic band fronted by bluegrass veteran and mandolin player Colby Maddox. The band formed in the year 2000 and have been playing in venues around Chicago such as Schubas, Fitzgerald's, The Old Town School of Folk Music, Uncommon Ground and the Lyon's Den. They play mostly bluegrass, some jazz/western swing, and folk music. Instrumentation is guitar, bass, mandolin, cello and dobro.
