| The Valley Downs, a power pop band from Chicago fronted by the vocals of Marinne Shimkus and former 92 Degrees band member Mike Galassini, are on their way to finishing their debut album entitled "EP Behemoth" which will become available sometime in October 2004. The single 'Better' can already be found on the International Pop Overthrow Vol 7 CD, as well as on the band's website. After still being a relatively new band, The Valley Downs have managed to play shows in big cities such as New York, Los Angeles, Nashville and even at the infamous Cavern Club in Liverpool, England.
