| Former Northwestern University organ professor and winner of the Grand Prix de Chartres, France, he has recorded on several European labels, and is internationally known for his interpretation of early music and that of the German and French romantic period. Was also a university organist for the University of Chicago. He is currently Professor of Organ at the Hochschule fuer Musik und Theater in Saarbruecken, Germany since 1996.
