Richard H. Driehaus Museum
The Driehaus Museum is housed in the historic Samuel Mayo Nickerson Mansion, built from 1879 to 1883. The "Marble Palace," as the house became known, was one of the grandest residential buildings of 19th century Chicago. Steeped in history, the Nickerson house survives today as one of Chicago's most extraordinary historic homes. Tours are available to the public and cost $12.50-$25.
