What's with the employers who scream out the windows at people ALL day long!? All I've heard about this place is how many people they've turned off with the harassment and people avoiding that side of the street. Calm it down...

Selena, you are about the only person that seems to like this place, yet you response is only about telling Amanda these are not like Eggo's..? She never said they were, she just said that she would prefer an Eggo. Also, you make it clear Americans are pigs and we are all fat because we overeat. Do me a favor, go back to where things are so much better. And yes, I would like more than a waffle wrapped in waxed paper for a meal. Maybe it's because I'm a fat tub of lard.

Oh, for my review.... I hate this place.

These delightfully delicious treats are identical to the ones I grew up with in Belgium .. for those of you thinking that this is the Eggo waffle you are ignorant of the fact that these are sugar waffles and are like a brioche. They are not related to the cake batter Eggo waffles. You need to educate yourself. This place is awesome and the portions are small because we don't overeat like pigs in Europe. I love this place.

I got ripped off big time! This place is really expensive and the portions are tiny. The three of us left hungry and $40 lighter in the wallet. An Eggo at home would have been more satisfying. Don't go if you value a value.

You can smell this place from half a block away and it draws you in. Best waffles I've ever had and my g/f felt the same way. The girls behind the counter were very nice and helpful too. I'd recommend getting a cinnamon one (ours were freshly baked as well) and your favorite gelato on top.

I was VERY excited that this place FINALLY had opened (after several delays and pushing their opening date back...) However, once I was finally able to try it out last Saturday I was disappointed. I understand they are still working out the kinks, but I felt their menu was very limited and the waffles were overpriced. The waffle was very good, but at just under $5 for a small waffle it is not a place I would go very often. Although toppings are not needed, I imagined them offering the waffles with a chocolate topping like I had in Europe. The only topping offered was cinnamon and sugar, and that was almost a $1 extra. Their coffee was good (being a fan of illy) and offered at a good price. Finally, the gelato could draw more business but they did not have the gelato advertised, labeled, or offered on their menu? I may go back in a few months to see if they've improved at all- and the waffles are good. Just expect to pay a bit for one.

By far the best waffle I have ever had!!!! Always ask for a fresh one off the grill, they will be more than happy to cook it for you, it takes about 4 minutes. The belgian chocolates they have are also heaven!!!

my first experience with baladoche was saturday. i was disappointed because the waffle was already cooked and reheated on the iron. the waffle was not great. i don't know what it is supposed to be like but, it seemed a bit burned on the outside and possibly underdone on the inside. i don't think theyv'e worked out all the kinks yet as they are not fully funcitonal. i like illy espresso and i WANT the waffle to be good so, i will give them a second chance after they get fully functional.
